Performances were given by employees of at least 30 units including the State Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Electric Power Industry and the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection.

Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Yang Hyong Sop and officials of working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions.

Put on the stages were choruses "The General Will Live Forever as the Sun" and "Attraction and Reverence", oungum ensemble of immortal masterpiece "The Embrace of My Motherland", male chorus "The Sound of a Horse's Hooves in Mt. Paektu" and other colorful numbers.

The performers sang high praises of the undying feats Kim Jong Il performed by demonstrating the dignity and might of Juche Korea and ushering in a new era for building a thriving nation despite stern tempest of revolution, holding high the banner of Songun.

Also staged were numbers instilling into the audience the conviction that the future of Kim Il Sung's nation is bright as it is led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, a great man of Mt. Paektu.
