DPRK Citizens Enraged at S. Korean Media Report
Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- People in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have been enraged at a recent report by south Korea's Channel A Broadcasting Service that defended a germ warfare committed by the U.S. in the 1950-1953 Korean War.

Ri Yong Hwan, a researcher of the History Institute under the Academy of Social Sciences, told KCNA in this regard:

The Channel A reported the DPRK is spreading a "fiction" that the U.S. used germ weapons in the war and has deployed chemical weapons in Okinawa.

It was a well-known fact that in the Korean War the U.S. used germ weapons and poison gas and other toxic chemical weapons in flagrant violation of international laws.

The fact was verified by different international fact-finding teams, including the one from the International Association of Democratic Lawyers, and the testimonies of American pilots captured while dropping germ bombs.

It was also evidenced by a document showing that the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff ordered on carrying on germ weapon experiments in the northern half of Korea during the war and by a recently-disclosed report on the germ warfare worked out by a British biochemist in 1952. The biochemist's report disclosed that the U.S. learnt from Japan how to develop and use germ weapons in order to apply them in the war.

Nevertheless, the south Korean puppet group is attempting to shield such deadly crimes, committed by the U.S. imperialist murderers against the nation, in a bid to prolong its remaining days. Such behavior deserves curses and punishment by all Koreans.

Han Hyong Chol, section chief of the Taedonggang Beer Factory, said it is high treason for the puppet group to try to cover up the U.S. war crimes, which can never be pardoned.
