Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in South Africa

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A South African preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed with due ceremony in Gauteng Province on February 7. A secretary of the Gauteng Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of South Africa was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize a meeting, seminar, lecture, film show and other colorful political and cultural events praising the sacred revolutionary career and immortal feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. A congratulatory message to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the inaugural ceremony. |
