Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" on February 6. Donets, chairman of the branch, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize a seminar, film show and other colorful political and cultural events praising the sacred revolutionary career and immortal feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
