Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Khabarovsk, Russia

| Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) and the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on February 5. Alexandr Gromov, first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events including round-table talks and film show praising and introducing the sacred revolutionary career and immortal feats of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasions of the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star. |
