Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Denmark

| Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 3. A member of the leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events to praise the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
