KPA Commanding Officers Visit Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Commanding officers of the Korean People's Army visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum on Sunday, the birthday of the regular revolutionary armed forces of Korea.

The visitors paid tribute to the statue of President Kim Il Sung waving back to the columns of the military parade at the square of marking the war victory.

They laid bouquets before the sculpture "Victory" in the Monument to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War and paid deep respects for the victors in the great age.

At the hall of building the regular armed forces, they looked round the historic relics showing the undying army building exploits of the peerless great persons, being briefed that the President developed the KPRA into the regular revolutionary armed forces in a short period since the country's liberation.

They also looked round the first submachine guns of the DPRK which the President awarded to the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters and the first colors of the KPA made by anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and military uniforms of all services in the period of building the regular armed forces.

They were also deeply moved by photos and revolutionary relics and data dealing with the revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung.
