Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- All the service personnel and people of the DPRK are paying the highest respect to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the birthday of the regular revolutionary armed forces of Korea (February 8).

Service personnel and people paid tribute to the statues of the Generalissimos at the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces.

Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces and KPA General Staff and units and bouquets and flowers.

The participants paid tribute to the statues in humblest reverence.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were also laid before the statues of the Generalissimos at the Ministry of People's Security, Kim Il Sung Military University, Kim Il Sung University of Politics and other military academies and large combined units of the KPA.

Floral baskets, bouquets and flower were also laid before the statues of the Generalissimos and mosaics portraying their smiling images in Pyongyang and local areas.
