Russian, Bangladeshi Papers Highly Praise Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Russian and Bangladeshi newspapers carried special write-ups and articles on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

The Russian paper Byvor on January 30 allotted one whole page to a special write-up illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

The paper in an article titled "General Kim Jong Il-peerless patriot and outstanding great man" (February 16 is the greatest national holiday for the people of the DPRK) said:

The life of Kim Jong Il was the most brilliant life of a great revolutionary who covered the arduous path of the revolution, which no one had traveled, with his iron will and superhuman efforts, holding high the banner of Songun, and was the life of an ardent patriot who devoted his all to the country and people.

He was a distinguished politician and peerless Songun brilliant commander as he turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power.

And he was a peerless patriot and father of the nation who made immortal contribution to the cause of national reunification.

The Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda on January 23 devoted a whole page to a photo-illustrated article praising his exploits.

The paper also carried a photo of Kim Jong Il's birthplace at the Paektusan Secret Camp and photo showing the panoramic view of Pyongyang City.

The Bangladeshi paper Blits on January 21 in an article titled "Eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea" stressed that the DPRK is demonstrating its might as a country manufacturing and launching satellites and a nuclear weapons state. It is absolutely the results of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, the paper stressed.
