S. Korean Paper Denounces U.S. for Scuppering Chance of Dialogue with DPRK
Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- An article on the evermore acute confrontation between the DPRK and the U.S. was posted on the south Korean internet paper Jaju Minbo on Feb. 2.

The article noted that the situation is inching close to the crossroads of tension and war. This is attributable to the U.S. policy towards the Korean peninsula, it said, adding:

On Jan. 2, Obama issued a "presidential executive order" to impose sanctions upon the north. On Jan. 22 Obama made reckless remarks about "collapse of the north", a clear indication that there would be no dialogue between the north and the U.S.

Such U.S. provocative policy and utterances that persisted from the outset of the year have no meaning except for revelation of an intention to scupper the chance of dialogue with the north.

The north declared it had no will to sit at a negotiating table with the U.S. Commenting on the declaration, experts said that it would not allow the tension created by the U.S. to go on any longer.
