Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Nakhodka, Russia

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Nakhodka, Russia on February 2. Zelenov, first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territory of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events to praise the sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
