The history of north-south confrontation is the anti-reunification and crime-woven history of the U.S. as it has alienated the north and the south and escalated the distrust and confrontation while deliberately interfering in internal affairs of the Korean nation.

The inter-Korean relations are deteriorating day by day, far from reaching the orbit of improvement, and such serious development is a product of the U.S. vicious anti-reunification moves.

The U.S. remains unchanged in its anti-reunification nature. It is becoming evermore undisguised in its moves at a time when all the Koreans are turning out as one to glorify this year marking the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation as a significant one to open up a broad avenue to independent reunification.

The joint military drills and leaflet scattering operations against the DPRK going on in south Korea are the main factors of disturbing the improvement of the inter-Korean relations. It is impossible to hold trust-based dialogue and improve the relations between the north and the south unless these moves are halted.

Needless to say, the U.S. is to blame for the failure of the north and the south to mend their relations despite the DPRK's important proposal reflecting the will to put an end to the inglorious history of confrontation with compatriots and write a new history of inter-Korean relations and efforts to realize it.

Owing to the U.S. interference in internal affairs of the Korean nation to block its reunification, the inter-Korean relations are again facing a blatant challenge.

It is the main task of the Korean nation to turn out in a nation-wide struggle for foiling the U.S. harsh hostile policy toward the DPRK and its interference in internal affairs of Korea to block its reunification.
