Minju Joson Lays Bare Japan's Nuclear Ambition
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- According to a recently declassified official document of the U.S., Japan sounded out the U.S. side's intention to lend nuclear weapons with the Japan-U.S. joint map exercise in Japan proper which used an A-bomb in the latter half of the 1950s as a momentum, and took an answer from the U.S. on sharing nukes in case of contingency.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Wednesday says this tells that Japan has long worked hard to have access to nuclear weapons.

This fact clearly proves that the "non-nuclear" policy touted by Japan so far is nothing but a poor mask to conceal its wild ambition for nukes.

Clear is the aim persistently sought by Japan to have access to nukes while serving the U.S. as its master which imposed nuclear disasters on it.

Japan is still regarding its failure to possess nukes capable of turning the situation of war in its favor in a moment as the cause of its defeat in World War II. It is the sinister intention of Japan that it should possess nuclear weapons without fail in a bid to wipe away the shame of defeat and realize its old ambition for the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

The Japanese reactionaries are seeking to realize their militarist ambition for overseas expansion without fail by brandishing nuclear weapons and provoking wars of reinvasion.

They should know that the nuclear weaponization is as foolish an act as inviting their self-destruction, and stop at once two-faced act aimed to possess nuclear weapons under the veil of "denuclearization".
