S. Korean Organization Denounces U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea held a press conference outside the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Jan. 29 denouncing the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK.

At the conference, the organization slammed the U.S. for blocking south-north dialogue and the improvement of the inter-Korean relations and, furthermore, seeking to lead the north to changes.

The U.S. has put military pressure upon the north so far and planned to develop the "tailored deterrence strategy", a preemptive offensive strategy, into an operational scenario, they noted, adding:

It desperately hurled its organizations into scattering leaflets by using the "human rights issue in the north" as a means for pressure.

Its hostile policy serves as an obstacle blocking up the south-north dialogue. It is an unbearable crime to throw a wet blanket over the atmosphere of mending the inter-Korean relations.

The U.S. should cancel the projected Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills so that a climate may be created for south-north dialogue and a policy may not be pursued any longer for leading the north to changes.
