At the meeting speakers said that even foreign countries are calling for the repeal of the SL, terming it an evil law which suppresses ideology and conscience, meeting and association, freedom of academic study and artistic description. They went on:

Only when the prisons of this society which bind people's hands and feet by the fascist law are pulled down, is it possible to talk about reunification. The SL blocking the reunification should be abrogated at once.
