Birth Anniversaries of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il to Be Celebrated in Mexico

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A Mexican national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) and the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed at the building of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico on January 26. Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. It set the celebration period from February 1 to April 15 and decided to organize a lecture, seminar and other colorful political and cultural events praising the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasions of the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star. |
