Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Thailand

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed at Rajabat Pranakorn University in Thailand on January 23. Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including a friendship meeting, seminar and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
