Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Finland

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Helsinki, Finland on January 24. Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, and Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold a meeting and other colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
