Solar and Lunar Eclipses to Occur This Year
Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- This year will witness solar and lunar eclipses, twice each, according to Kang Chang Hyok, section chief of the Pyongyang Observatory.

There will be a total solar eclipse on March 20 and a partial solar eclipse on September 13, which can not be observed in Korea.

A total lunar eclipse is expected to occur on April 4 and September 28.

The lunar eclipse on April 4 will start at 19:16 and end at 22:46, with its maximum magnitude at 21:02.

The lunar eclipse in September can not be seen in the country.
