Rodong Sinmun Slams US for Pursuing Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The world has made a tremendous advance and the times have undergone dramatic changes, but the tragic history of the Korean nation's division has lasted till now. This is entirely attributable to the U.S. which has pursued an anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK.

Rodong Sinmun Friday says this in an article.

The U.S. forces' presence in south Korea is a product of its deep-rooted policy for dominating the whole of Korea, and it is an inveterate bad habit of the U.S. to fish in troubled waters by taking advantage of distrust and confrontation among Koreans.

The bosses of the White House were replaced many times and the situation and environment around the Korean peninsula changed a lot but what remains unchanged is the U.S. policy for dominating Korea, the article notes, and goes on:

The U.S. forces' presence in south Korea is not a simple military presence but is aimed to totally exterminate the Korean nation. Herein lie the danger and criminal nature of the U.S. imperialists' policy of occupying south Korea.

Neither the peace and reunification of Korea nor the peace and security in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world is thinkable as long as the U.S. keeps south Korea under occupation.

The U.S. policy of occupying south Korea is the policy of aggression, war and domination contrary to the world trend toward peace and cooperation.

The withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea is a wise action for the U.S.

To pull the U.S. forces out of south Korea is the urgent task of the times.

The U.S. should refrain from pursuing its old policy of occupying south Korea, coolly judge the reality and make a bold policy switch.

The U.S. should withdraw its forces from south Korea before it is too late if it wants the peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the world.
