Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Tajikistan

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A Tajikistan preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Dushanbe on January 23. Sh. Shabdolov, chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold various political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
