During the march the marchers laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung at the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo, in the Pochonbo Revolutionary Battle Site and Chongbong Bivouac and on the shore of Lake Samji and mosaic depicting the three commanders of Mt. Paektu at the secret camp and paid tribute to them.

At Pochonbo the marchers listened to the explanation about the revolutionary battle site before going round the command post for the Battle in Pochonbo, the then police post of the Japanese imperialists, the sub-county office, etc.

They arrived at the secret camp via the Spring Site in Poso-ri, the Tableland of Junghung, the Rimyongsu Revolutionary Site and Chongbong and Konchang bivouacs.

They looked round historic relics preserved in the birthplace.

In front of the birthplace of Kim Jong Il they held a meeting for adopting a letter to be presented to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Upon their arrival at Samjiyon they were briefed on the Samjiyon Grand Monument and looked round groups of sculptures.

During the march they held a question-and-answer study, contest in singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array, entertainments and other colorful political and cultural events.
