Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Moscow on Jan. 22 under the sponsorship of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK. The preparatory committee with V. A. Petrov, chairman of the association, as its chairman, groups prominent personages of Russia. It decided to hold meeting, book and photo exhibition, seminar and other political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
