The meeting discussed the issue of implementing to the letter the important tasks set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un in his New Year address for Juche 104 (2015).

Hyon Sang Ju, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers underscored the need to dynamically advance towards the grand festival of October, holding high the militant slogan "Let us all turn out in the general offensive to hasten final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu!" put up by Kim Jong Un.

The trade union organizations should take the education in the greatness of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Il's patriotism, faith, anti-imperialist and class consciousness and morality as the main tasks of ideological education, they noted.

They stressed the need to make positive contributions to glorifying this significant year as a year of great victories and revolutionary, auspicious events.

The meeting was attended by members and alternate members of the C.C., the GFTUK and its officials in Pyongyang and local areas.
