The statement said:

Hwang Son, a progressive activist of south Korea, was arrested on charges of violation of the "Security Law" for the reason that she praised the DPRK. This is, in fact, an unprecedented fascist violation aimed to stifle the freedom of thought and expression.

Now fascist politically-motivated terrorist acts have become frequent occurrences in south Korea.

The brutal fascist acts including the arrest of Hwang Son clearly show that the "liberal democracy" touted by the authorities is a sheer lie.

The "liberal democracy" is fascism, not genuine democracy and "unification under the liberal democracy" trumpeted about by them is "unification of social systems" in the true sense of the word.

South Korea is like a big fascist concentration camp.

The world progressive people should disclose and condemn the fascist suppression by the south Korean authorities and miserable human rights situation there.

We strongly demand the south Korean authorities release progressive and patriotic people including Hwang Son at once.
