Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Kyrgyzstan

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Kyrgyzstan preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Bishkek on January 20. A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party who doubles as chief of the Kyrgyz Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
