Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Ethiopia

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- An Ethiopian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Addis Ababa on January 20. Nigatu Dagnachew, chairman of the Ethiopian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
