Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Czech Republic

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Czech preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Prague on January 20. Jaroslav Kafka, chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from Jan. 21 to Feb. 16 and decided to hold a seminar, round-table talks, photo exhibition, film show and other political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il during the period. |
