Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Switzerland

| Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed with due ceremony in Basel on January 17. Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to post on its website Kim Jong Il's works and articles praising his exploits and organize colorful political and cultural events including meeting, seminar and film show between January 24 and February 18. |
