Kim Jong Un's New Year Address Supported by Foreign Political Figures
Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- Political figures of Poland and South Africa issued statements on Jan. 14 in support of the New Year address made by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Juzef Lachut, chairman of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw Regional Committee of the Polish Communist Party, said that in his New Year address Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, put forward the tasks to further consolidate the DPRK's invincible might as a socialist political and ideological power and accelerate the building of an economic giant in this year seeing the 70th anniversaries of Korea's liberation and founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The chairman went on:

Kim Jong Un called for writing a new chapter in the history of inter-Korean relations by creating a peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula and bringing about a great change in the above-said relations in this year seeing the 70th anniversary of the division of the Korean nation by outsiders.

We, aspiring after the world's peace, fully support the proposals of the DPRK to create a peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula and improve the inter-Korean relations.

The coordinator of a regional executive committee of the Gauteng Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party said:

Kim Jong Un's New Year address instills confidence in sure victory and optimism into the Korean people and all other progressive people loving justice and truth.

His proposals for national reunification are fair and aboveboard ones to make it possible to independently and peacefully resolve the issue of Korea's reunification in the common interests of the nation and free from any foreign interference, transcending differences in ideology and social system.

We fully back his realistic proposals for Korea's reunification.
