This slogan put up by the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in the early period of revolution served as a banner which encouraged the army and people of the DPRK to perform military miracles startling the world during the fierce Fatherland Liberation War and protect the party and the leader from all moves of the enemies in the annals of the grim revolution. The Korean people are the heroic people who weathered rigorous trials during the Arduous March, the forced march in the strong spirit of independence not to become slaves of the imperialists though one may lay down one's life and with the solemn pledge not to lower the red flag though one has to eat gruel mixed with grass and the staunch will to make long journeys for the Songun revolution to the last under the leadership of the party and the leader. The Korean revolution could alw

ays emerge victorious despite all storms of history thanks to the army and people who cherished the revolutionary faith and obligation to remain loyal to the idea and leadership of the party and the leader as their life and soul.

The might of the harmonious whole of the DPRK in which the leader believes in the army and people, and all service personnel and people hold up the leader with revolutionary faith and obligation has been powerfully demonstrated on the highest level over the past three years.

Led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, the revolutionary ranks of the DPRK have turned into steel-strong units of comrades and units of comrades-in-arms sharing life and death to the end on the road of revolution they should take despite rain or snow and the ever-victorious history and traditions have been given steady continuity.
