Kim Yong Nam Congratulates to Sri Lankan President

Pyongyang, January 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Sunday sent a congratulatory message to Maithripala Sirisena on his election as president of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

The message sincerely wished the president big success in his responsible work, expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would develop more favorably in conformity with the common interests of the peoples of the two countries.
