Ho Jong Man said in a report that all the officials of Chongryon are filled with a great ambition and new resolution after receiving Kim Jong Un's New Year address and congratulatory message for the New Year.

He called on all the officials and activists to turn out as one in the "innovative movement to greet the 60th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon with spectacular successes in the drive for a new heyday."

He underscored the need for all officials of Chongryon to make redoubled efforts to discharge their honorable mission and duty in hearty response to Kim Jong Un's New Year address and congratulatory message.

Then followed speeches. The speakers renewed their determination to adorn the 60th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon with great successes by waging a dynamic patriotic movement for ushering in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan and defending the Chongryon organizations in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
