The reporters and speakers said that his New Year address serves as a militant banner which helps win victories on all fronts for defending socialism and building a thriving nation in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu.

Last year was a year of proud victories in which the invincible might of the country was fully demonstrated in building a thriving nation under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, they noted.

All victories and precious achievements made last year are a brilliant fruition of the extraordinary wisdom and distinguished leadership ability of Kim Jong Un and devoted efforts of all party members and other people who are rallied close around the party, they stressed.

They called upon all officials, party members and other people to dynamically advance toward the grand October celebrations, holding high the slogan "Let us all turn out in the general offensive to hasten final victory in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu!"

They stressed that no force on earth can check the advance of our army and people who are rushing forward under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un, holding high the banner of great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and final victory undoubtedly belongs to us.

The rallies were attended by officials of local party, power and economic bodies and working people's organizations and officials, workers and young people of industrial establishments, farms and universities.
