Members of Young Vanguard and Women Meet to Vow to Implement Their New Year Tasks
Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- Members of the young vanguard and the Democratic Women's Union of Korea (DWUK) separately held meetings Wednesday to vow to implement the tasks set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year address.

The meeting of members of the young vanguard took place at the Youth Park Open-Air Theatre while the meeting of the members of the DWUK was held at the Hall of Women.

Reporters and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's New Year address deeply moves all the service personnel and people across the country.

They called for building more monumental edifices in the era of Workers' Party by raising a strong wind of creating the Korean speed and making every construction site for building a thriving nation alive with a drive for patriotism, loyalty, creation and innovations.

They renewed their will to invariably hold up President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il as the sun of Juche, staunchly championing and adding eternal brilliance to their immortal revolutionary exploits.

They stressed the need to consolidate the youth league and women's union to be Songun revolutionary organizations sharing the same idea, breathing the same breath and taking pace with the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) by steadily intensifying the work for establishing the monolithic leadership system of the party, true to the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The meetings were attended by Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the C.C., the WPK, officials of the youth league and the DWUK, officials concerned, youth and students and members of the DWUK.
