Korean in Kyrgyzstan Vows to Contribute to Movement for National Reunification
Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- Pak Kyong Ho, chairman of the United Confederation of Koreans in Kyrgyzstan, made public a statement calling for implementing to the letter the tasks for national reunification set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un in his New Year address for 2015.

The tasks serve as important guidelines to be held high in the patriotic movement for reunification this year marking the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation, the statement said.

All Koreans should get united, turn out as one in the nationwide movement for national reunification and glorify this year as a year of great turn to open up a broad avenue to independent reunification, it noted, and continued:

The driving force of national reunification is all the Koreans in the north and the south and abroad, and the country can be independently reunified in line with the interests and demand of the nation only when the stand of By Our Nation Itself is maintained.

We will wage a dynamic struggle to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, the reunification programmes common to the nation and landmarks of peace and prosperity in the new century.

We will make positive contributions to the reunification movement to briskly hold dialogue, negotiations and exchanges, make contacts to relink the severed ties and blood vessels of the nation and bring about a great turn in the north-south relations.

We are firmly convinced that the country will be certainly reunified thanks to the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for national reunification and the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un despite whatever ordeals and difficulties that we may face in the way of national reunification.
