Citizens in Pusan Call for Putting End to National Division

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Citizens in Pusan of south Korea on January 1 held a meeting calling for putting an end to the tragedy of national division, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Thongil News.

Speakers at the meeting said that citizens of Pusan desirous of national reunification met on the New Year's Day, stressing the need to put an end to the history of national division which has lasted for seven decades.

For the present, the "government" should lift the "May 24 steps" and come out in undertakings including the resumption of tour of Mt. Kumgang, they added.
