It said that the Japanese newspaper on Dec. 22 said the south Korean regime's suppression of media was very harsh.

It recalled that south Korean chief executive Park Geun Hye threatened media institutions criticizing the regime's policies and even revealed an attempt to close them.

The paper said media organs and persons who reported about the case of Jong Yun Hoe's interference in state affairs, in particular, were accused or suppressed on charge of "libel" by the chief executive and her confidants.
