The deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana said:

It is a great fortune not only for the Korean people but also for all other world progressive peoples looking up to the DPRK as a beacon of hope to hold the respected HE Kim Jong Un in high esteem as supreme commander of the KPA.

I am firmly convinced that the KPA under the leadership of First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea Kim Jong Un will further demonstrate its might as an invincible army.

Saber Ballul, head of a department of the Political Faculty of the University of Damascus of Syria, said:

The international community is praising Kim Jong Un as the most outstanding supreme commander who provided a sure guarantee not only for security of the country and its people but for peace and security of the Korean Peninsula by bolstering up the country's military capability in every way.

He has wisely led the army and people of the DPRK to ensure that great successes are made in all sectors of socialist construction.

He is a brilliant genius of idea and theory who took over the great Juche idea, the Songun idea which President Kim Il Sung fathered and leader Kim Jong Il developed in depth as revolutionary legacies and who is faithfully carrying forward and developing them.

The Korean people under his wise leadership are vigorously advancing towards the final victory of their just cause, the socialist cause.

The DPRK will always shed its rays as a beacon of independence.
