Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Service personnel, people from all walks of life and school youth and children across the country paid tribute to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and portraits depicting their beaming images on the occasion of the New Year, Juche 104 (2015).

This morning they visited the statues on Mansu Hill.

Seen standing before the statues was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Placed before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the party, armed forces and power bodies, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions, enterprises, factories, farms and schools at all levels here, and the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front and bouquets and flowers.

The participants made deep bows to the statues in the humblest reverence.

Laid before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at Kim Il Sung University, Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and portraits depicting the beaming images of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in different parts of Pyongyang were floral baskets in the name of KPA units, institutions, enterprises, etc., and bouquets and flowers.

Service personnel, school youth and children and other people across the country also visited the statues and portraits.
