The message said that since the establishment of the diplomatic relations the peoples of the two countries have steadily promoted the close ties of friendship and cooperation in all fields of politics, economy and culture in the common idea of sovereignty, independence and non-alignment.

It expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would grow stronger, wishing the prime minister greater success in his work for the prosperity of the country and well-being of its people.

DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong also sent a similar message to Hor Nam Hong, Cambodian deputy prime minister who is also minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on the same day.
