Kim Jong Suk's Exploits Praised by Bulgarian Organization
Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association released a special bulletin on Dec. 22 to mark the 97th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

The bulletin in an article said:

The Korean people significantly celebrate Dec. 24 every year. It is not only the day when they held leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army but also the birthday of Kim Jong Suk.

Kim Jong Suk was born in Hoeryong, Korea in 1917.

She embarked upon the road of revolution in her early years and remained loyal to the great Comrade Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

She brought Kim Jong Il up to be the sun of the future.

She made great contributions to the building of a new country after the liberation of Korea.

She devoted her great efforts to the work of education, in particular.

She paid deep attention to successfully bringing up the sons and daughters of the comrades-in-arms who had laid down their lives in the struggle for liberating the country.

She energetically led the work for building Kim Il Sung University.

She also made a tangible contribution to building the regular armed forces.

She passed away to the sorrow of all while devoting herself to building a new country day and night.

The Korean people are highly praising her as anti-Japanese war hero and the great mother of Korea.
