Kim Jong Il Remembered at DPRK Missions Abroad
Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Memorial meetings, photo and book exhibitions, film shows and other events took place at DPRK missions in Vietnam, Iran, Cambodia, Myanmar, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, Germany, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and Egypt, the DPRK permanent mission at the UN and the DPRK permanent mission at the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva on Dec. 16 and 17 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and photos and books introducing Songun Korea.

Films shown included Korean films "The Tower of the Juche Idea" and "Arms of Korea".

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and full-length portraits of them and paid tribute to them.

The chairman of the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam said:

The whole life of Kim Jong Il is the precious one for the country and its people.

His demise is the great loss to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people.

Personages of many countries of the world are visiting DPRK embassies to honor the memory of him.

The prime minister of the Yangon regional government of Myanmar praised Kim Jong Il as the distinguished leader and benevolent father of the people who turned the DPRK into an invincible power.

The chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism said that Kim Jong Il devoted his all to defending and glorifying socialist Korea and took the road of devotion for the country and people till the last moments of his life.

A director of the secretary room of the minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Equatorial Guinea said that the DPRK would always emerge victorious as it is led by Kim Jong Un.
