Internet Seminar on Kim Jong Il's Feats Held
Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- An internet seminar of the Asia-Pacific region on leader Kim Jong Il's undying feats took place under the sponsorship of the Asia-Pacific regional committee for honoring the memory of him on Dec. 17.

Portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were displayed in the front wall of the seminar venue in Karachi, Pakistan and floral baskets were placed before the portraits.

Also on display were photos showing the noble revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il.

In addition, books and photos introducing Songun Korea were on show there.

The main seminar was attended by Pakistani personages from all social strata.

The participants observed a moment's silence in honor of Kim Jong Il.

Read out at the seminar was a message from ex-Prime Minister of Nepal Madav Kumar Nepal.

Then, speeches were made under the titles of "In honor of leader Kim Jong Il", "HE Kim Jong Il and Songun leadership" and "HE Kim Jong Il will live forever" by nearly 30 personages from all walks of life and chiefs of the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and the Juche idea study groups and personages of the Asia-Pacific regional committee for honoring the memory of Kim Jong Il and the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Supporting Peaceful Reunification of Korea, from 15 countries.

A letter to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.

An appeal to the world progressives was also adopted.

The appeal said that Kim Jong Il was an outstanding thinker and theoretician, a great statesman, a gifted Songun brilliant commander and a benevolent father of the people who made undying contributions to the building of strong and prosperous Korea and the accomplishment of the global cause of independence.

The appeal called for continuing to vigorously conduct various activities for praising him on a national, regional and international scale, for giving wide publicity to successes gained by the Korean people in their struggle and for sending invariable support and solidarity to them.
