The police took such action for the mere reason that the co-representative and other members of the organization staged actions for reunification through federal formula and the abolition of the "Security Law" in solidarity with organizations including the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification which had been labeled the "organization benefiting the enemy".

On the same day the police searched a house of a pastor and an office of a peace church on charges that he attended a seminar sponsored by the Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany at which he denounced the lighting of the Aegibong Light Tower as a psychological warfare against the north, had a contact with a person from the north, supporting its assertion, and made and distributed "documents benefiting the enemy".

Earlier, the police also searched an office of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration.

Whenever the south Korean fascist ruling quarters faced a ruling crisis, they cooked up conspiratorial cases, linking them to the north, and kicked up a whirlwind of suppression. It is their trite method.
