Terrorist Act against S. Korean Progressive Activists Slammed

Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea issued a statement on Dec. 15 in demand of a strict punishment of criminals who committed a terrorist act against Hwang Son, representative of the Forum for the Study of Politics Desired, and Sin Un Mi, a Korean professor in the U.S.

The terrorist act against progressive activists was cooked up by the anti-reunification forces fanning up the madcap confrontation with fellow countrymen, the statement said.

The recent crime was not a simple accidental act of a student of a high school, it noted.

The "yusin" dictatorship is being revived and ultra-right terrorist forces are rampant in south Korea, it deplored.

It demanded a clear probe into the accomplices and backstage manipulators of the terrorist act and stern punishment of those concerned in it.
