Memorial Service for Kim Jong Il Held by Teachers, Students of Korean University of Chongryon

Tokyo, December 19 (KNS-KCNA) -- A memorial service of teachers and students of Korean University under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) was held at the lecture hall of the university in Tokyo on Dec. 15 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The participants watched video "Cantata to General Kim Jong Il", the 1 000-people chorus performance of students of the university which was given on his birth anniversary in 2002.

Jang Pyong Thae, rector of the university, said that Kim Jong Il showed particular loving care and solicitude for the university so that it might train many able talents of the nation who will inherit the patriotic cause.

Then followed an art performance.
