Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Demise Observed in Different Countries
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

A photo exhibition was held by the Committee of Angola for Friendship and Solidarity with Peoples, a book exhibition and film show at a hospital in Zamfara State of Nigeria and film shows by the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea, a club of the Taekwon-Do Association of Mongolia, the Universal Surveying Company of Thailand and a university of Algeria from Dec. 8 to 13.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il.

Also displayed there were works of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books introducing Songun Korea.

Participants of the film shows watched Korean films dealing with the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il and Songun leadership feats of Kim Jong Un.

The acting chairman of the Committee of Angola for Friendship and Solidarity with Peoples who is chairman of the committee for honoring the memory of Kim Jong Il praised him as prominent statesman and activist and outstanding leader ardently revered by not only Korean and Angolan peoples but all other world progressives.

He was an ardent patriot and benevolent father as he dedicated his all to the prosperity of the country and happiness of its people all his life and a great example of genuine international soldiers as he made tangible contributions to the cause of global independence, the acting chairman said.

The director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea noted that Kim Jong Il was the greatest man who performed great feats before the country and people, adding he always lives in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind.
