Present at the major seminar were representatives of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland), the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Peruvian Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk, the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship and other Peruvian political parties and public organizations.

They paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il.

Genaro Ledesma Izquieta, chairman of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, made a report.

He said: Kim Jong Il was a great leader who succeeded to the cause of President Kim Il Sung and steered the Korean revolution and socialist cause to victory.

He shattered the moves of the U.S.-led imperialist forces and their stooges with his Songun politics, firmly defending the sovereignty of the country and the nation and the destiny of socialism.

Not only the Koreans but other people praise his efforts and exploits for putting an end to the country's division forced by outside forces and building a reunified Korea and prospering country.

Jose Francisco Aguilar Bulgarelli, honorary chairman of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, said in a speech that Kim Jong Il is boundlessly respected by all peoples as a great man.

Juan Jose Leon Vega, first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, noted Kim Jong Il is alive in the hearts of Korean people for his dedication to the people till the last moments of his life.

Diego Antonio Rivero, chairman of the Venezuela-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, praised Kim Jong Il for leading the DPRK and the Korean people to victory and providing progressive humankind with the most precious revolutionary pabulum.
