Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Korean photo, book and handicrafts exhibitions opened at a museum of Russia and a cultural hall of Peru on Dec. 5 and 10 to observe the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

On display at the exhibition halls were photos showing the exploits of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

A vice-mayor of Russia said:

The exhibition will help our citizens know better about the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il.

They are remembering him as he performed great exploits for the development of the Russia-DPRK friendly relations by visiting the Siberian and Far East Regions of Russia during even the last moments of his life.

We will exert our efforts to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

An official of a Peruvian city office said the exhibition would offer an opportunity for citizens to know better about the exploits of the great leaders of the DPRK and its heroic struggle for independence and prosperity and wisdom and talents of its people, wishing them bigger successes in their future struggle.
